Southside Community Council gives residents a voice in how our area evolves. By volunteering, you can help protect what’s special about the Southside and make it even better.

Ways you can help

Whether you can spare a few hours a month or want to take on a regular role, there’s a place for you.

    Connect with residents, student groups, and local organisations.

  • Local Place Plan Team

    Help shape our vision for Southside’s future.

  • Digital Communications

    Support website updates, social media, and newsletters.

  • Admin & Support

    Assist with meeting organisation, minutes, and correspondence.

  • Local Projects & Issues

    Shape our approach to planning, licensing, transport, green spaces and community wellbeing.

Everyone is welcome. You don’t need any prior experience, just enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference.

We meet in person once a month, but you can give as much or as little time as you like.

You don’t have to join formally right away — come along to a meeting or help with a project first. Every bit helps.
